Asset monetisation doesn’t mean the monetiser is buying the asset, it very simply means the monetiser is monetising the asset by way of offering a loan, a line of credit to the asset owner. The loan offered is secured against the asset to be used. The amount of loan offered will depend on the asset and can range between 20% loan to value to 100% loan to value. It is key to understand the monetiser doesn’t buy the asset, they present a line of credit, and there will be terms and conditions attached to the credit line offered. Should you would like a buyer for an asset, speak to GTES.
The assets which can be monetised range from the following, but are not exclusive to the following:
1 ) In Ground Assets e.g. Coal, Copper, Nickel.
2 ) Oil.
3 ) A Range Of Financial Instruments.
4 ) Precious Gems.
5 ) Gold SKR’s.
6 ) A Range Of Safe Keeping Receipts.
7 ) Artwork.
8 ) Bitcoin.
Some assets owners, be it private or company owned, are not even of the understanding they can make use of their asset to generate a line of credit. It’s most common that the monetiser of the asset will only monetise the asset if the line of credit offered, is taken to trade with a private placement platform introduced by the monetiser. However, this can be negotiated directly with the monetiser.
