The asset monetiser will offer the principal a line of credit, which is a loan generated against the asset. The amount of credit you receive in relation to the value of the asset, which in this case is the Gold, is called loan to value (LTV). Once the monetiser has secured a line of credit for the principal, the proceeds from the loan can be made use of to enter a trade program offered by a private placement trade platform.
